2022 Reunion
Our 40th reunion "Don't Stop Believin'" was held on
Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm
at Honolulu's
Pagoda Hotel
C'est Si Bon Ballroom. The night before the reunion,
an informal gathering of classmates and friends took place at
Back Shamrock Tavern from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Thank you for making our reunion a success and
a fun-filled evening where old friends came together.
As we grow older, we understand that these reunions are precious,
and it was reflected by the intermingling classmates' smiles,
talking stories and just having a wonderful time. There was a
lot of aloha and love in the room! The program, presentation and
door prizes were also excellent. Everyone received something to
take home.
The 40th year since our graduation is a significant milestone in our
lives. Unfortunately, Roosevelt's class of 1980 and 1981 did not
have the opportunity to celebrate their own 40th reunions in the previous
two years due to the pandemic lockdowns. We thus invited members
from these classes to attend ours, and we shared our aloha
with our Rough Rider friends.
A big mahalo to all of you who attended, especially to those
who traveled from afar.
In total, about 100 people attended this reunion, including spouses and
guests. among them were 18 people from the class of 1980 and 1981.
The record turnout reaffirms the strength of our bond and friendship.
The 5-hour long event seemed so short, the good time we had flew by
all too quickly.
The reunion committee worked hard to make this happen, we hope
it was an unforgettable event for you. Here's looking forward
to the next reunion, probably our 45th in 2027!
